August Perl, 92, of Alburtis, died Oct. 11, 2014. He was the husband of the late Hazel H. (Jacobs) Perl. They were married for 65 years. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Frank and Rose (Palmer) Perl.

He served in the Army during World War II, worked at the Coplay Cement Co. for over 45 years and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda A. and her husband Gary Hoosier, Sr., of Alburtis; grandsons, Craig and his wife Jaci, Michael, and Gary Jr. and his wife Abby; grandchildren, Rylie and Caleb; brother, Otto; many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by seven siblings.

A viewing will be 10 a.m., Oct. 17 followed by a service 11 a.m. at the Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
