Raymond B. Ganssle Sr., 83, of Coplay, died Sept. 27, 2014, at his home. He was the husband of Romona (Keller) Heffelfinger Ganssle.

Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Nicholas) Ganssle.

He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He was employed by Hellertown Manufacturing Company for 30 years before retiring in 1982.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn R. and her husband Brian Easterday and Ramona Quinn; a son, Raymond Jr.; three brothers, Howard and his wife Dorothy Ganssle, Elden and his wife Marion Ganssle, and Frederick and his wife Betty Ganssle; two sisters, Marie Applegate and Audrey and her husband George Cawley; stepchildren; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Services are private.
