Paul E. Wingrove

Paul E. Wingrove, 69, of Allentown and Islamoralda, Fla., died Oct. 2, 2015, at home. He was the husband of Hellen Wingrove for 45 years.

Born in St. Louis, Mo., he was a son of Arnold and Pearl (Meyer) Wingrove.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology.

He worked at Bethlehem Steel where he was a senior technology engineer. He later co-founded American Computer Solutions Inc. with Jim Baker, and was CEO until his 1995 retirement.

He was a member of both Asbury United Methodist Church, Allentown, and Burton Memorial United Methodist Church, Tavernier, Fla.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Dottie and Jeanie; two sons-in-law; a brother, Bob Wingrove; a sister-in-law; and five grandchidren.

There will be a calling hour from 10-11 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11a.m., Oct. 11 at the church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown, 18104.

Contributions may be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church Liberian Wells Project or to St. Luke's Hospice.
