Family members: My parents are Martin and Donna Hopper.
Favorite subject: My favorite subjects are Spanish and science. I love being able to learn a new language and I have always found science very fascinating. I especially love learning about the human body.
Activities: Activities I participate in at Notre Dame are Student Council: co-bonding coordinator; cheerleading; Key Club president; National Honor Society; spring chorus; track and field; peer listener; Spanish National Honor Society and Mini-THON.
Next steps: I plan to attend college and pursue a master's degree in speech pathology.
Career goals: After working as a speech pathologist, I would like to go back to college and earn my Ph.D. in speech pathology.
Heroes: My family members are all heroes and role models to me. My grandparents, cousins, parents, aunts and uncles have all shown me in special ways how to be the best version of me and to always give my all.
Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy shopping and spending time with friends and family.
Volunteer/community work: I spend a lot of my volunteer time tutoring outside of school. During the Christmas season, my family and I volunteer at and assist to organize the dinner for Project Hope of Easton. Additionally, through my extracurricular activities at school like Key Club and Student Council, I have been able to give back to my school and community through a variety of projects.
Likes: I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, traveling and participating in a variety of school activities.
Dislikes: I very much dislike squirrels and fire.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): I am very proud to say that I set many goals for myself in regard to school and activities and I have been able to succeed and accomplish what I wanted to do.
Advice for peers: I believe it is essential to believe in yourself and stay positive. Always set goals for yourself, push yourself to be the best version of you, and never expect anything less than your best.
