Dottie (Parvel) Deutsch, 76, of Coplay, died Sept. 24, 2014, in her home. She was the wife of the late Francis "Birdie" Deutsch.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Susanna M. (Shettler) Parvel.

She was a secretary for Aetna Corporation for 42 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She is survived by three nieces, Debora Ann Parvel of Coplay, Denise and her husband John Dunckley of Tabernacle, N.J., and Linda Roth of Morrisville; and a nephew, David and his wife Denise Parvel of Whitehall.

She was predeceased by three brothers, William J. Jr., Francis and Edward Parvel; and a sister, Anna Roth.
