Vondelane V. (Mar-steller) Stoeckel, 74, of The Phoebe Home, Allentown, formerly of Salisbury Township, died Sept. 30, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus. Born in Shimersville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Mary Arlene (Buss) Marsteller.

She was employed as an administrative assistant at Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit in Schnecksville from 1977 to 2002.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She is survived by children, Daniel D. and his wife Donna, of Allentown, Lani S. and her husband Scott Shimandle, of Schnecksville, Perri S. and her husband Michael Matejcek, of Allentown; grandchildren, Rebecca Feifel, Joshua, Jacob and Jillian, Jennifer and Kaitlyn Shimandle, Jonathan, Gabrielle and Christopher Matejcek; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Aubrey Feifel; brother, Richard Marsteller, of Flower Mound, Texas; sister, Pamela and her husband the Rev. Ned McMillen, of Bethel, Conn. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Deborah.
