George W. "Bill" Bishop, Jr., 82, of Salisbury Township, died Sept. 16, 2014, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of Mary L. (King) Bishop. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in October 2013. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Helen B. (Fink) and George W. Bishop, Sr.

He was an electronics teacher at Lehigh County Vocational Technical School for many years before retiring.

He was a member of Jordan U.C.C., and a member of the former Trinity U.C.C., both in Allentown.

Years ago he was active in the local ham-radio club.

He is survived by his wife; brother, James H., of York; nephews Robert Brunner, Thomas, Stephen; nieces Karen Brunner, Laura Brunner, Jane Degruchy, Brooke. He was predeceased by a brother John M.
