John B. Berrigan, 25, of Catasauqua, died Sept. 24, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Born in Raleigh, N.C., he was a son of James M. and Dawn M. (Podolsky) Berrigan, with whom he resided.

He was a 2007 graduate of Catasauqua High School, where he participated in football and track.

He attended Liberty University in Virginia.

He was a server at Applebee's.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jennifer Berrigan of Catasauqua; a brother, James J. and his wife Alexandria of Lynchburg, Va.; his girlfriend, Dani Pechacek of Allentown; paternal grandfather, James J. Berrigan of Walnutport; maternal grandmother, Jean Podolsky of Texas; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
