Parkland Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield.

Helen Olena, president of the Pennsylvania Gourd Society, will present a program featuring types of gourds, their historical significance and their uses.
