Mildred M. Niederberger, 87, of Emmaus, died Sept. 20, 2014, at Above & Beyond Assisted Living, Allentown. Born in Barnesville, she was the wife of the late George J. Niederberger, who died in March.

A registered nurse, she was a school nurse in the East Penn School District and also gave home health exams for insurance companies.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a son, George J., Jr.; husband's siblings, Joan Giandonato, Carl Martz and Richard. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lee Ann in 2006.
