Jessica F. Ritter, 45, of New York City, N.Y., died Sept. 20, 2014, at BNSNY Hospice Inpatient Unit at Bellevue Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Karen C. (Hines) Ritter, and Roy W. Ritter and his wife, Charlene J. (Sup) Ritter, of New Tripoli.
A graduate of Emmaus High School and Baruch College, she resided in NYC for the last 19 years.
She excelled in her marketing career.
She volunteered for Pet Rescue and a food bank in New York City.
She participated in marathons benefiting breast cancer. She lived life to the fullest extent and loved traveling to many destinations.
She is survived by her father and his wife; aunts, Sandy Borsetti, of Bethlehem, Debi Day, of Lenhartsville, Cheryl Rogers, of Mt. Bethel, Rhonda and her husband Nick Roman, of Walnutport, Marie and her husband Huey Hudson, of Houston, Texas; uncles, Frank Hines, of Allentown, Harvey, of Louisville, Ky.; numerous cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity benefiting animals.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Oct. 11, in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. There will be a visitation period one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
