Upper Macungie Township Police Department will be hosting a community police academy from 10 a.m.-noon starting Oct. 4. The class will run every Saturday until Nov. 8.

Applications, available at uppermac.org, must be returned by Oct. 1.

Class is limited to 30 participants.
