Thomas "Tom" Robert Spess, 57, of North Catasauqua, died Sept. 21, 2014, in his home. He was the husband of the late Deborah A. (Morgan) Spess.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Gerald and Jean (Mohr) Spess.

He was a senior estimator for the Tri-M Group. He previously owned T.R. Spess Electric.

He is survived by a son, Caleb and his wife Katie; and a daughter, Amanda and her fiancé Craig Snyder, all of Northampton; a sister,Toni Hoffman of Catasauqua; his mother-in-law and friend, Carol Morgan of Catasauqua; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Gerald F. Spess Jr., John C. Spess and Richard Spess.

There will be a viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m., both Sept. 25 in the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, 18032.

Contributions may be sent to the family payable to and in care of the funeral home.
