Richard D. Schoeneberger Sr., 77, of Bath, died Sept. 15, 2014, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Allentown. He was the husband of Hilda T. (Milisits) Schoeneberger for 12 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late William and Theresa (Deutsch) Schoeneberger.

He worked for Witt's Tree Service for the past 22 years.

He raced the number 16 late model car at both Dorney Park and Grandview Speedway.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard D. Jr. and his wife Tina of North Catasauqua, and Randy D. of Allentown; a stepdaughter, Donna and her husband Steve Slovak of Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.; four brothers; and four sisters.

He was predeceased by a sister.
