Frieden's Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Stony Run, is having an apple festival, with food served 2-8 p.m., Sept. 20.

Apple dumplings, tarts, crisp, fritters, funnel cakes, ice cream, hamburgers, soup, fries, hot dogs, barbecues and other homecooking will be available.

"The Majestics" will perform classic country, bluegrass and other music 5-8 p.m.

The festival will take place rain or shine.
