There will be early dismissal for elementary students noon Sept. 12. Only morning kindergarten students will attend school that day. There will be no afternoon kindergarten.

Make sure students are dressed appropriately for fall weather. Physical education classes go outside in the morning, and some classes take a morning break outside. Also make sure they are wearing proper shoes.

Northwestern

Elementary

There is an open house 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11 at NWE. Parents are invited to visit the school to meet the teachers.

Weisenberg

Elementary

There is an open house 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11 at Weisenberg.

There will be two presentations in the gym to provide information. The first one begins 6:10 p.m. for families with students in kindergarten through grade 5 with a last name beginning with M-Z.

The second presentation begins 7 p.m. for families with a last name beginning with A-L.

There will be a scavenger hunt in the library and a variety of groups throughout the school including PTO, Spirit Wear, Market Day, Scouts and NYAA Youth Wrestling.

Fall parent teacher conferences will be scheduled at the open house. The conferences will be 12:30-3:30 p.m. Nov. 21 and 24-26 with additional hours 6-8 p.m. Nov. 24.
