Ruth P. Frey, 88, of Allentown, died Aug. 29, 2014, in her home. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Frey.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer P. and Katie M. (Wilt) Klotz.

She was a Whitehall High School and Kutztown University graduate.

She taught in the Whitehall-Coplay School District.

She was a member of United Church of Christ, Greenawalds, where she was a deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher and president of the Women's Guild.

She was a 17-year member of the Phoebe Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Christopher and his wife Maria of Allentown; a daughter, Kathryn R. and her husband Andrew Paradysz of Allentown; a brother, Marvin W. Klotz of California; two granddaughters, Amelia and Abigail Paradysz; two stepgranddaughters, Isabella and Brandy Costa; and two nieces.

She was predeceased by an infant son.
