Clifford James Connors, 55, of Northampton, died Aug. 26, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Karen B. (Belas) Connors for 24 years.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Shirley A. (Rabuck) Connors and Claire "Pete" Connors of Pottsville.
He was a 1977 graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Pottsville. He attended Penn State University. He graduated from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, Syracuse, N.Y.
He worked with funeral homes in the Reading and Lehigh Valley area. He was the owner and operator of Affordable Lawn and Landscaping since 1966.
He was a member of Assumption of the B.V.M. Catholic Church, Northampton.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two sons, Clifford "CJ" James II and Casey B., both at home; his father's wife, Patricia (Day) Connors; two brothers, Terrence Connors of Bethlehem and Rodney "Buzz" and his wife Colleen Connors; two sisters, Peterine and her husband John J. Wojcik III and Clarice Connors; a stepbrother, Bernie and his wife Barb Bieskie; two stepsisters, Lisa and her husband Joe Novak and Nicole and her husband Ed Leibel; his mother and father-in-law, Stephen and Cecelia (Wernosky) Belas; a sister-in-law, Sally (Hannaway) Connors; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Joel "Spanky" F. Connors; and a nephew, John "JJ" J. Wojcik IV.
