Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., Catasauqua, will be holding a bingo, offering cash and Coach purses as prizes, Sunday, Sept. 7. Doors open at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m. The kitchen will be open.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will be having an Applefest Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bake sale, crafts, food, games, raffles, a cake walk, tricky tray and Evonne's Sandwich gift cards. Music will also be provided by a deejay.
