Nilce P. (Teles) Ortwein, 73, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 19, 2014, at her residence. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Alfredo J. and Rose G. (Gonsalves) Teles. She was the wife of Edward Ortwein for 51 years.

She worked for Bethlehem Steel, Oravec Pharmacy, and was clerical specialist for Lehigh County Human Resources, retiring in 2002.

She was a volunteer for Bethlehem Special Olympics and for the Shakespeare Festival at DeSales.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle and her husband David Stout of Bethlehem; a son, Jeffery and his wife Lisa of Nazareth; three brothers, Alfredo and his wife Donna Teles, Carlos and his wife MichelleTeles and Elvio and his partner Arthur Kelly; two sisters, Gloria and her husband Robert Hoch and Odette and her husband Dan Perio; four grandchildren, Shannon, Zachary, Ryan and Austin; nieces; and nephews.
