Helen M. Fischl, 83, formerly of Catasauqua, died Aug. 23, 2014, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Anthony C. Fischl Sr.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Lillian (Muth) Lewis.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Daniel and his wife Melissa of Catasauqua; a daughter-in-law, Carol Fischl of Schnecksville; four sisters, Joyce Sterner, Shirley Krause, Kathleen Wieder and Wendy Lewis-Weaver; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Anthony C. Fischl Jr.

There will be a calling hour 9-10 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. memorial service, both Aug. 30 at St. Paul's UCC, 105 E. 19th St., Northampton.
