I ask drivers to use extra caution Aug. 25 as it is the first day of school for students.

Not only will school buses return to the road but so will the children as they wait for their buses.

There will be no school Aug. 29, however the offices will be open. They will observe the Labor Day Holiday on Sept. 1 with all schools and offices closed.

On Sept. 12 there will be early dismissal for a teacher in-service day.

Middle school students will be dismissed 10:50 a.m. High school students will be dismissed at 11 a.m.

Middle school

The open house is scheduled 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Parents are encouraged to stop by the school to meet the teachers and learn about the new school year.

Book Fair will be Sept. 15-19 during school hours.

The first PTO meeting will be held 9:30 a.m. Sept. 13.

All parents of middle school students are welcome to attend.

Picture day is Sept. 9. Parents, these photos make great Christmas presents.
