Charles L. "Charlie" Collins, 76, of Coplay, died Aug. 11, 2014.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late William J. and Mary K. (Mannix) Collins.

He worked as a computer operator for ATT/Lucent for many years before retiring.

He was a member of many social clubs in the Lehigh Valley and he tended bar at numerous clubs including the Catasauqua Club and the Coplay Saengerbund.

He was a Vietnam Army veteran and a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215.

He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

He is survived by a son, William J. and his significant other Lauren Haydt; and sisters, Georgia Schuster and Deborah Penna.
