Richard L. Zuercher
Richard L. Zuercher, 56, of North-ampton, died July 27, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Alice M. (Fisher) Zuercher for 36 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Francis R. and Margaret J. (Schulter) Zuercher of Bath.
He served in the United States Air Force.
He was a member of the Train Collectors Association, and was most recently assisting in cataloging and preparing auctions for Maurer's Auction House, Pottsville. He was self-employed as a Corvette restoration specialist.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Bath.
He was a member and past president of the Northampton Area School Board.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Rachel L. and her husband, Christopher N. Fine; three grandsons, Daniel C., Ryan L. and Christopher M.; three brothers, Robert and his wife Helen of Slatington, Michael and his wife Lynda of New Smithsville and Kevin and his wife Deanna of Slatington; a sister, Cheryl and her husband Robert Adams of Bath; three brothers-in-law, Barry and his wife Sharon of Allentown, Perry and his partner Esteban of New York and Ronald Zweifel of Allentown; two sisters-in-law, Ardith Fisher of Catasauqua and Suzanne and her husband Edward McCarthy of Allentown; nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts; and uncles.
He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Loretta E. Fisher; his father-in-law, Robert Fisher Sr.; a brother-in-law, Robert Fisher Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia Zweifel.
