Elsie M. Strausser, 91, formerly of Penn Forest Township, Whitehall, Allen Township and Catasauqua, died July 23, 2014, at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Paul S. Strausser for 72 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Ellen (Nagle) Menges.

She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Nancy A. and her husband Otis Wallhofer of Jim Thorpe; two grandchildren, Ann and her husband Anthony Adams and Paul Wallhofer; and two great-grandchildren, Corbin and Kyla Adams.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Paul; and a sister, Esther Brewer.
