Betty J. Rose, 91, of Northampton, died July 28, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late James Rose.

Born in Brooks Mill, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Baker) Ringler.

She was a financial service representative at PNC Bank for many years before retiring in 1985.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath.

She is survived by a son, Steven J. and his wife Carolyn of Allentown; four daughters, Carol J. and her husband Thomas Mory of Bath, Mary Beth and her husband James Shannon of Northampton, Susan M. of Bethlehem, and Patricia A. and her husband Ernie Coy Jr. of Walnutport; a sister, Beula Peterson of Florida.; two grandchildren, Amy and Christopher Shannon; and nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
