John N. Nemith, 78, of Bethlehem, died July 20 in his home. He was a son of the late Rudolph and Mary (Czekits) Nemith. He was a husband of Barbara T. (Quier) Nemith for 37 years.
He served as a radio operator in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
He later worked as a layout operator for Western Electric until his retirement from Agere.
He was a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia and her husband Dave Paulik of Nazareth, Alesia and her husband Gary Albright of Bethlehem, and Patricia and her husband Frank Snisky of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Emily and Hailey; sisters, Freda, Anna and Helen; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Mary, Hermina and Hilda; and brothers, Rinehart, Charles, Rudolph and Lewis.
