Edward A. Peppe Sr., 89, of Northampton, died July 15, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Gloria (Santiago) Peppe for 63 years.
Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Mary (DeMaio) Peppe.
He was a U.S. Army private first class, a veteran of World War II, serving with the 30th Medical Battalion, European theater.
He was a supervisor for the U.S. Post Office, Manhattan, for more than 35 years.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Joanne F. and her husband Michael Rizzo of Northampton and Andrealee Camelliti and her companion John Peterson of Fairhaven, N.J.; a son, Edward A. Jr. and his wife Margaret of Atlantic Highlands, N.J.; four grandchildren, Michael, Craig, Alyssa and Edward A. II; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Monson of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Jessie Monteleone of New York City; nieces; and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Schisler Funeral Home Inc., Northampton.
