Stoogie the book worm and Ronald McDonald recently visited Schnecksville Elementary School to show kindergarten, first- and second-grade students reading is fun.

The youngsters from Ironton, Kernsville and Schnecksville elementary schools attended Camp Discover for "It's Book Time With Ronald McDonald" July 15.

Camp Discover, run by Andrea Marzano and Cathy Sweeney, is a program to motivate students to read.
