Parkland Garden Club has announced programs for the 2014-15 season.

The garden club meets 7 p.m. at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield, on the following dates:

2014

Aug. 11: "Herbs From Plant to Plate" by Barbara Demp-sey, GCFP Garden Study Consultant Chair.

Sept. 8: "Design Program: Design with Glitz" by Char Smith, National Council Master Judge.

Oct. 13: "Gourds" by Helen Olena, president of Pennsylvania Gourd Society.

Nov. 10: "Making Holiday Wreaths" by Donna Baylor, floral designer and Master Gardener.

Dec. 9: Christmas banquet at Brookside Country Club.

2015

Jan. 12: "Anything You Want to Know About Trees" by Randy Fey, certified Arborist.

Feb. 9: "Growing a Tomato and Pepper Salsa Garden" by Joe Veshinfsky, Penn State Master Gardener.

March 9: "A Design Program: Spring Flowers" by Rich-Mar Florist.

April 13: Spring banquet at Lehigh Country Club.
