Donald D. Mullins, 85, of Fullerton, died July 12, 2014, at home. He was the husband of Kathleen E. (Schaffer) Mullins for 65 years.
Born in Jefferson City, Mo., he was a son of the late Roy Lee and Anah Elizabeth (VanGundy) Mullins.
He was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the World War II Berlin airlift.
He worked for Exide Willard Battery, Allentown, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1989. He worked for Acme stores, Whitehall, in the frozen food section for many years.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where earlier in his life he was active with Boy Scout Troop 63.
He was a lifetime member of and a former firefighter with Fullerton FIre Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Colleen M. Chryst of Fullerton; a son, Richard D. and his wife Barbara of Sneads Ferry, N.C; four grandchildren, Abby, Allyson, Jennifer and John; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Claude and his wife Patricia of Alabama; and a sister, Wilma Keister of California.
Arrangements were made by GIlbert Funeral Home Inc., Whitehall.
