Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is holding its annual outdoor worship service and church picnic at Egypt Memorial Park July 27. The day begins with an outdoor worship service at 10:15 a.m., which will be followed by a congregational picnic. Participants should bring lawn chairs, a covered dish, cold drinks and table settings. The church will provide hot dogs and coffee. Friends, relatives and neighbors of church members are welcome.

Shepherd of the Hills youth members are planning a Nov. 9 Longaberger basket bingo and Chinese auction. Mark your calendars. More information coming soon.

The Egypt Memorial Park is now taking reservations for its inside pavilion for winter events. The pavilion is heated and has ADA compliant restrooms.
