Bethany Church, 429 Walnut St., Catasauqua, is holding a strawberry festival 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 29.

It will feature strawberries, ice cream, cake, hot dogs and live music. All are welcome to this event.

Celebrate with the Catasauqua Garden Club, Wednesday, July 2, as Dan Kunkle talks about the garden fireworks that native plants provide.

The fun information sessions begin at 1 p.m. at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Items for judging should be in place by 12:45 p.m. Garden friendly visitors are always welcome.

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, Catasauqua, will be holding its vacation Bible school from Sunday, July 27, through Friday, Aug. 1.

The class runs from 6-8 p.m. and is for Pre-K to sixth grade.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., Catasauqua, is running a bus trip to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, with a side trip to Toronto, Sept. 29 to Oct. 3. A passport is required.

The trip includes four nights lodging in Niagara Falls, Canada, all taxes and gratuities and luggage handling. Four breakfasts and four dinners are provided.
