The Siegfried Railroad Station, home of the Northampton Area Historical Society, will be open to visitors on the third Sunday of each month from May through September and, possibly, October.
The station, located on West 21st Street, will be open on June 15, 1-4 p.m.
The station is a museum housing artifacts from the Northampton area. There are several permanent displays and some different features each year. This year's main exhibit is the J.J. Kleppinger Meat Market.
There is no charge to visit the station, but donations are accepted for the continuing restoration of the station. A new floor was recently installed in the stationmaster's office. This was funded by a grant from the Northampton County Hotel Tax.
