The end of the school year is quickly approaching and this will be my last elementary column for this school year.

Have a great summer vacation. I will see you again this fall.

There will be early dismissal at noon June 13 and 16 for elementary students.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade will receive their report cards on the last day of school, June 16.

On June 13, morning kindergarten students will attend school. There will be no afternoon kindergarten that day.

Only afternoon kindergarten students will attend June 16.

Northwestern Elementary

The fifth-grade spring concert and art show will be May 29. Art show begins 6 p.m. Concert will be performed 7 p.m.

June 6 is the kindergarten stepping up program.

The fifth-grade promotion assembly will take place 9:30 a.m. June 13. Parents are invited to attend.

Weisenberg elementary

The spring band and chorus concert will be presented June 4. The student assembly will be 2 p.m. Parents are invited to attend the 7 p.m. show.

All kindergarten students are asked to attend school in the morning June 5 to rehearse for kindergarten program and June 6 for the program.

at 9:30 a.m.

The final PTO meeting of the year will be 9:15 a.m. June 6. Check with the office for the location.

There will be a first- through fourth-grade awards assembly 9:30 a.m. June 9.

Art, physical education, positive behavior and other awards will be presented. Parents are welcome to attend.

On June 10, there will be a fifth-grade talent show at 1:45 a.m.

The fifth-grade promotional assembly will be 1:30 p.m. June 12. Parents are invited to attend.
