Members of Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington, will have Memorial services at outlying cemeteries May 25.

They will leave the Legion Post at 8 a.m. and travel to Williamstown for an 8:10 a.m. service.

They will then go to Jacob's Church, Lynn Township, 8:40 a.m.; Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, 9:15 a.m.; Heidelberg Union Church, at 9:45 a.m.; Neffs Lutheran Church, 10:15 a.m.; Seventh Street, 10:45 a.m.; Fairview at 11 a.m.; Friedens, 11:15 a.m. ; and Presbyterian at 11:45 a.m.

On May 26, they will leave the Post 8 a.m. and travel to Catholic Cemetery, Washington Street, 8:05 a.m.; Slatedale Cemetery at 8:30 a.m.; Trout Creek Covered Bridge, at 8:50 a.m.

They will then form for the parade at the Post at 9:30 a.m.

American Legion Post 16 will hold its 94th service at the Union Cemetery, Slatington, with speaker Capt. Jason Leaver, a retired Navy officer. The service begins at 10:30 a.m.

In case of inclement weather, the service will be 10:30 a.m. at Slatington Baptist Church, 509 Main St. Slatington.
