Claire E. Knecht, 85, of Fullerton, died April 25, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg campus. Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Tobias A. and Rilla (Mohrey) Brosious. She was the wife of the late Paul "Peanuts" W. Knecht for 65 years.
She was a 1946 graduate of Whitehall High School.
She worked at Miniphot Studio and R.J. Harwick Photography, both in Allentown.
She was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Fullerton. She was a member of the Parkland Art League. She was a former sergeant at arms of the Fullerton American Legion Post #367 auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Jade L. and her husband Daniel Krim of Bethlehem and Ellen C. Taylor of Idaho; a son, Kris H. and his wife Donna of New Tripoli, two granddaughters; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter; and two sisters, Laura Scheirer and Rilla Micklos.
