Jean E. Gross, 88, of Tahlequah, Okla. and formerly of Allentown, died April 3, 2014, in Talequah. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Edna May (Phillips) Boyer. She was the wife of the late James B. Lunger and the late Clarence "Tiny" I. Gross.

She was a registered nurse for the Bethlehem Area School District prior to retiring.

She is survived by a step son, Daniel and his wife Marilyn Gross of Tahlequah; two sisters, Patricia Grow and Nancy Merkle; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
