Disturbance reported
Coplay police responded to a report of a disturbance in the unit block of North Second Street Sunday evening .
According to police, someone was screaming and throwing items inside the apartment.
Police said they spoke to both a man and women who had both been drinking alcohol. Both individuals told police they were arguing.
The man agreed to leave the premises, police said.
Report of theft
Police responded to a report of theft March 29 at the Giant gas station, Chestnut Street.
A witness told the clerk a Hispanic man stole several automobile products from a service rack outside the attendant's booth.
Odor detected
A report of a strong odor of natural gas brought police to the Giant Food Market, Cherry and Maple streets, March 28.
Police said a patron became ill.
The police department handled the situation accordingly.
Fire reported
Police and the borough fire department responded to a fire call March 26 in the 200 block of North Ruch Street.
According to police, upon arriving home, the owner of the home found the residence on fire.
Police said they detected a strong odor of something burning. Firefighters found a battery- operated baby monitor caught on fire.
Juveniles cited for harassment
Police cited two juveniles for harassment March 25 in the unit block of North Second Street.
Police said three youth were playing basketball at St. Peter's Church when another juvenile approached them and pushed one of the boys.
Loud music
reported
Police responded March 25 to a complaint of loud music.
Police said a man in his vehicle was playing music too loudly.
He was advised by police to turn the music off.
