A benefit concert April 4 at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe with Larry Chance and The Earls helps celebrate the 35th anniversary the Carbon-Tamaqua Telethon benefiting the American Canser Society.
Tickets for the concert are available at cancertelethon.org.
The Earls are famous for songs like "Remember Then," "I Believe" and "Life is but a Dream" among others.
Popular regional oldies band Remember When opens the evening.
The telethon airs April 5 and 6 on Blue Ridge and Service Electric cable systems.
Over its 35 years, the local telethon featuring local talent has raised over $2 million for ACS.
