The Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding of Muhlenberg College, 2400 Chew St., Allentown, will host a teacher workshop on the Holocaust at the college 3:30-6:30 p.m. April 28.
This workshop will feature Freida Garcia, daughter of rescuer and hero Col. Jose Arturo Casellanos, a Salvadoran diplomat to Hungary who saved thousands of Jews during WWII.
A representative from the Anti-Defamation League, will be presenting an "Echoes and Reflections" curriculum training, which will include tips on teaching young people about being compassionate citizens in a world with a violent history.
ACT 48 certificate will be available.
