Stephen W. Skumanich, 90, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 31, 2014. Born in Jessup, he was a son of the late William and Mary Skumanich Smith. He was the husband of Dolores (Mosluk) Skumanich for 56 years.
He was a Lock Haven State University graduate. He pursued master's level studies at Lehigh, Lafayette and Villanova.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps World War II veteran.
He was a math and science teacher at Saucon Valley Junior High for many years and was a timekeeper for the wrestling matches.
In addition to wife, he is survived by daughter, Stephanie Skumanich, Ph.D; two sisters, Rose Piasecki and Mary Kistner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Molnar; and a sister, Ann Prohidney.
