Friends of the Whitehall Township Public Library will meet 2:30 p.m. March 12, in the library, 3700 Mechanicsville Road. New members are welcome.

Donations of gently-used books for the ongoing book sale are greatly appreciated and can be brought to the library during regular hours.

This coming weekend before going to bed on Saturday night, March 8, remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour. Surprisingly, it is already the beginning of daylight saving time. Hopefully, warm weather is not far behind.

Since the official start of spring is not until March 20, we need to find other ways of getting through the last few dark and cold weeks of winter. Luckily, the Philadelphia Flower Show is going on right now until March 9. Think about taking a trip down the turnpike to Philadelphia to experience the sweet smells of spring and enjoy the breathtaking floral displays. This event will brighten your day.
