Liberty: Hong wins tech award
Juliana Hong, LHS '15, is one of 13 Philadelphia area students selected as a recipient of the 2013-14 National Center for Women & Information Technology Award for Aspirations in Computing. The awards ceremony will be held at Villanova University in April.
Homework: Help available
Moravian College students are offering free tutoring in all subjects, help with homework or just practice reading from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at the Bethlehem Area Public Library, 11 W. Church St. The drop-in program is for students in grades K-12.
Gov. Wolf: Teachers get grants
Governor Wolf's first grade teachers Lisa Young, Kim Donatelli and Danette Walters) received a Crayola grant. Along with a lot of Crayola goodies, they will also receive $300 to complete a grade level project. Fifth grade teachers Stacey Leon, Kathy Shermetta and Mike Delluva received a Bethlehem Area Education Foundation grant to support their DaVinci Integrated Arts Week project.
