Girls and boys, ages 9 to 14, participated Jan. 10 in the 2014 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship, St. Joseph the Worker's Council No. 1092, at St. Joseph the Worker, Orefield.

Twelve winners, one boy and one girl in each age group, were awarded basketballs and certificates.

They have the opportunity to represent the St. Joseph the Worker Knights of Columbus Council at the District Free Throw in St. Joseph the Worker gymnasium Feb. 7.

The 2014 winners are:

Age 14 Boys: Romario Elias; Girls: Anita Werner;

Age 13 Boys: Christopher Deschler; Girls: Lily Wagner;

Age 12 Boys: Chance Krohn; Girls: Alexandra Hollingstad;

Age 11 Boys: Mason Maxsim; Girls: Erica Lincoln;

Age 10 Boys: Jimmy Freeman; Girls: Erica Dietz and

Age: 9 Boys: A.J. Janis; Girls: Vivian Munshower
