In a Jan. 16 article about a Coplay Library Board meeting, it was incorrectly reported that the library donated gift cards to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley. In fact, the restaurant gift cards had been presented by a grateful library patron to library employees, not to the library itself. Employee Nancy Zelko reported to the board at the meeting she decided to donate the gift cards she received to the foundation.

In the Jan. 30 story "Four displaced by 'serious' fire," the time of dispatch, the individual who was thawing water pipes and the nature of the call were incorrectly reported. The fire was in fact dispatched at 6:20 a.m. not 7:45 a.m. Also, the individual thawing the water pipes was not the boyfriend of the Oswald's daughter, but the boyfriend of the homeowner. Finally, the call was initially reported as smoke billowing from the basement, not the second floor windows.
