Christopher Harold Whittaker was among the more than 5,000 undergraduate, graduate and professional students to receive degrees during annual commencement ceremony May 12 at Duke University, Durham, N.C.

Whittaker, a 2009 graduate of Parkland High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy studies with minors in economics and Spanish, cum laude.

He is the son of Harold and Deborah Whittaker of South Whitehall.

Whittaker is a management consultant with McKinsey and Company, Dallas, Texas.
