St. John's Lutheran Church, South Third St., will hold a baked ziti and meatballs dinner Saturday, Feb. 8, 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the church's social hall. Donations are accepted.

CFC's fasnacht sale will offer glazed, powdered and cinnamon doughnuts, with orders taken until Feb. 23. The pickup date for the doughnuts is March 3, 7:30 p.m. at the Cherry Street fire hall. Call 610-262-5956.

The Coplay Feral Cat Committee held a reorganization meeting, electing Dennis Gery as chairman; Joan Jacoby, treasurer; and Bill Leiner Jr., secretary. The committee is working on an application to receive a nonprofit organization designation by federal standards, preparing 501c3 paperwork. Gery noted the committee will make an effort to work with Whitehall Towship, which also has an issue with feral cats.

Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay, will host a bake sale fundraiser Sunday, Feb.9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Coplay Fire Department, 165 Cherry St. Proceeds from the bake sale will benefit recent fire victims. Cookies, cakes, brownies and more will be available.

Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association's food bank, on an ongoing basis, invites residents to drop off food and clothing donations. Recently, someone donated 15 new pillows. The pillows will go to several needy families.
