A special event will take place 10 a.m. Feb. 8 at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington.

There will be a 30/30 Mini-Winter Challenge event with LL Bean snowshoeing demonstration, nature hike and Wildlands Conservancy live animal presentation.
