Tyler F. Hacker, a junior from Allentown, was recently named to the dean's list for the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year at Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Va.

He is majoring in international studies.

Cadet Hacker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Hacker.

To be eligible for the dean's list, a cadet must have a term grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and no grade below C.
